AS A MANUFACTURER, WE DISAPPROVE USAGE
OF 9 MM AMMO IN 7.62X25 MAGS WITH THE PPS43-C 9X19 PISTOL!!!
9 mm rounds will fit in the 7.62x25 mm
magazine, but they are shorter than 7.62x25 rounds. During the feeding 9 mm
rounds will move lengthwise in the 7.62x25 magazine body, what will cause miss
feeding, jamming, and consequently may cause serious injury.
During the design works on the 9x19 PPS43-C pistol we developed 9x19 magazine. The 9x19 magazine uses the same body as 7.62x25 magazine, but:
USAGE OF 9 MM AMMO IN 7.62X25 MAGS WITH
THE PPS43-C 9X19 PISTOL WILL VOID THE WARRANTY AND LIBILITY CLAIMS!!!
The PPS43-C firing pin sits in a counter sink so when
the round goes off it pushes the primer to the counter sunk hole on the bolt
and the takes that shape, absorbing the recoil. Since this gun has no fixed
head space or fixed lockable bolt this will always happen, but it has no effect
on the safety.
